Its funny isn’t it, you meet new people all the time and very often these people become good friends. Some in person and some virtually.
The last few weeks have really taught me a lot about friendship. It has highlighted that there are people that are truly lovely and really care, but it has also highlighted that there are some very selfish people out there who only want to be around when things are good, as soon as you need something they are off.
Its such a shame (one of the latter people has been in my life for over 20 years) but these last few weeks have really taught me something.
When the going gets tough you know who your true friends are, Thank you to each and everyone of you who have called, text, tweeted your support. It really means a lot and is helping me get through this horrible time.

I recently had a long-standing friend let me down as things have never been the same since. It’s such a shame but it does make u realise who is really there for you x
